Who’s excited for Solo leveling the Game?!

Netmarble’s previously announced action RPG Solo Leveling: Arise, based on the famous online book series Solo Leveling, has debuted a new promotional trailer and a playable demo at G-Star 2022, which takes place from November 17 to 20. The game is currently under production and will be available for PC and mobile devices.

Solo Leveling is a Korean online book series, popularly known as manhwa, authored by Chu-Gong and drawn by Redice Studio’s Jang “Dubu” Sang-rak. The plot is set in a modern future where people can have magical skills and become hunters, and Sung Jin-woo, a poor E-rank hunter, is struggling to pay his mother’s hospital costs.

Despite his reputation as the world’s weakest hunter, he earns a living by routinely participating in dungeon raids. Jin-woo unexpectedly accomplished a secret task after his team abandoned him in a perilous double lair, earning him the opportunity to become a “player,” an unique position that allows him to clear dungeons, collect quests, and increase his stats on his own.

While Solo Leveling: Arise will take place in the same universe as the original game, players will be able to level up their characters and awaken them to the greatest hunter. According to a recent demo shown at G-Star 2022, the game will have three gaming modes: “Story Mode,” which portrays Sung’s maturation, “Hunter Mode,” which allows you to operate hunters from other guilds, and “Time Attack Mode,” which requires you to beat the opponent swiftly.

Solo Leveling: Arise, an action RPG that is one of Netmarble’s strengths, offers anime-like 3D graphics that closely capture the flavour of the original, while the characters move about with responsive actions and spectacular effects. Each character has four separate capabilities, and you will need to switch between them and use their unique abilities to battle the opponents on the field.

Although there is no word on when the game will be launched, a television anime version of the series will premiere in 2023 to give you a sense of how the plot is. Solo Leveling: Arise pre-registration is also available on the official site, although you may need a Korean cellphone number to complete the register. You can watch the first gameplay trailer here.
